''Torch run'' where lines of light decorate the ski slopes
During the event period, there will be many heart-warming events such as ''Steam Light'', which romantically lights up the three Dondon Biki public baths, ''Winter Working Vehicles Gathering'', where you can experience special vehicles such as snow compactors, snow plows, and snowmobiles working on Zao's slopes, and ''Jukki Snow Park,'' a kids space produced by Zao Onsen's local mascot, ''Jukki.''
This year, on February 1st, Zao Onsen's famous ''Torch Run'' and ''Winter'HANABI'' were launched into the night sky. The torchlight slide is open to the general public with advance reservations, and is a project in which participants glide with lights in hand and connect lines of light. Colorful lights shine in the darkness, creating a magical atmosphere. On this day, the performance art project ''KAGUZUCHI'', which provides entertainment using fire and light, also appeared, making it an evening filled with vibrant lights. During the period, in conjunction with the ''Juhyo Illumination'', we also offer a ''Juhyo Fantasy Corridor'' tour by night cruiser (advance reservations required during the specified period). Be sure to come and experience the grand festival that colors the ski slope season.
