Fukushima City/“Drops of Light Illumination” that magically colors winter nights

A winter tradition in Fukushima City where about 200,000 LED lights sparkle

"Drops of Light Illumination" is an illumination event that has been held since 2007 as a "winter tradition of Fukushima City created by all citizens." Every year, the station plaza at the east exit of JR Fukushima Station, Paseo 470, and its surrounding areas are lit up, and the trees decorated with approximately 200,000 LED lights shine like ''drops of light'', creating a fantastic scene. There are also photo spots at the Machinaka Exchange Center (underground walkway entrance) and Paseo Street where you can take beautiful commemorative photos with sparkling illuminations in the background. The familiar scenery of the town is colored with colorful lights such as blue, pink, and green, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you are in a dream.
