''Nebuta House Wa Rasse'' where you can experience the Nebuta Festival throughout the year

The Aomori Nebuta Festival is held from August 2nd to 7th every year to heat up Aomori's short summer. It is a brave and splendid festival in which Haneto dancers (dancers) parade through the main streets of the city center while chanting ''Rassera, Rassela!'' along with large, brightly colored Nebuta floats while the Nebuta music echoes.

A 1-minute walk from Aomori Station, Aomori City's cultural tourism exchange facility ''Nebuta House Wa Rasse'' is a perfect spot to prepare for the festival. The ''Nebuta Hall'' on the first floor, which has an open atrium, has a permanent display of four large, award-winning Nebuta that actually appeared in the Nebuta Festival, allowing you to take your time and admire them closer than the actual performance. The style of Nebuta differs depending on the Nebuta master, so it is recommended to compare them. As you watch the large Nebuta floats rising in the darkness while the rhythmic Nebuta music plays, you will feel like you are at the Nebuta Festival.

At Nebuta Hall, there are Nebuta Hayashi demonstrations, Hayashi experiences, and Haneto experiences, so you can enjoy the atmosphere just like the real performance. You can also experience the charm of Nebuta to its fullest, with displays of Nebuta parts that you can touch and Nebuta masks that clearly show the style of the Nebuta master.

The Nebuta Museum on the second floor uses photos and videos to introduce the origin and history of Nebuta, production techniques and styles, and changes in subject matter.

Please note that the large Nebuta exhibit will be changed every year after the Nebuta Festival, so if you haven't finished your preparations in time, you can just review them. The more you know about this place, the more you will like the Nebuta Festival.
