Fukushima City/Take on the ultimate outdoor experience “Winter Camp” that can only be enjoyed in winter

Recommended for advanced users! A campsite where you can enjoy nature as it is

Kanta Farm Noen Resort Wild Campground, located in the Odaira district, the deepest part of Osasabu, Fukushima City, is recommended for outdoor enthusiasts who are not satisfied with a campsite with too many facilities. This is an auto campground opened in October 2021 by Mika Suda, the owner of "Kanta Farm", which produces fruits and vegetables in the Osasao district, using idle land in the Ohira district, which has become a marginal village.

The large site of approximately 3,500 tsubo is a free site that takes advantage of the natural topography, allowing cars and motorcycles to enter. The appeal is that you can spend time without worrying about the distance from your neighbors, and pets are also allowed. Open fires are OK, which is the best part of camping. There is also a popular Loryu-style tent sauna, and during this season, it's a good idea to repeatedly go in and out of the sauna for a ''totono'' experience.

As for the water area, there is a water fountain, but it is not drinkable. Camping equipment is available for rent and sale, but you will need to bring your own water and food. However, if you make a reservation in advance, you can receive fresh vegetables from Kanta Farm. As it is a handmade campsite, it is being gradually improved, and until now there was no AC power, but from December it has become partially usable, and new toilets have also been installed.

This campsite, surrounded by mountains, has little artificial light, so if you look up at the sky, you'll see a starry sky. The road from Prefectural Route 312 to the campsite gets narrower in the middle, but the snow is removed in winter, so you can try camping in the snow. Why not enjoy a "wild" winter camping trip where you can feel nature as it is?
