Japan National Stadium Opening Event – HELLO, OUR STADIUM
We celebrated the completion of the new Japan National Stadium with a performance by about 600 people at the event to unveil the new stadium. It was a valuable opportunity for many people in Japan and abroad to learn about the most famous festivals of Tohoku.

Tokyo Japan 2019 Tohoku and Kyushu Reconstruction Event
There were performances on stage at the Tohoku/Kyushu reconstruction support event held in the Otemachi/Marunouchi area office building space with the aim of promoting regional attractions and cultural exchange, trade, and communication. Many people stopped by and enjoyed the performance.

Tohoku Reconstruction Festival 2019 in Nakano
The Tohoku Kizuna Matsuri parade and stage performances were held at the Tohoku Reconstruction Festival in Nakano to provide continuing reconstruction support to the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami as well as the Kumamoto Earthquake and show the recover of the Tohoku region.

Japan Expo Thailand 2019
There were performances on stage in Bangkok, Thailand, and Tohoku's festivals and attractions were shared with about 84,000 visitors. Kokeshi doll-painting and other activities were also offered so many people could enjoy the culture of Tohoku.

JAPAN PEACE FESTIVAL 2018 in Aoyama Matsuri
About 240 people from the Tohoku Kizuna Matsuri participated in the parade along Aoyama-dori with a total of about 600 people. There was great weather that day, and the rows of ginkgo trees were a perfect backdrop for the Nebuta, Kanto, and dancers' gorgeous costumes.

TOKYO SHINTORA MATSURI
The parade and festival exhibition were held in the Shinbashi/Toranomon area, which is accelerating its urban development as an new international city center, to show the recover of the Tohoku region from the Great East Japan Earthquake and the appeal of its culture.

Tohoku Revitalization Parade at the Milan Expo
On Japan Day during the 2015 Milan International Expo, a parade and exhibition were held in Milan to show Japan’s matsuri culture. Anime characters also appeared prominently, and it attracted a great deal of attention.
