Today we will be traveling somewhere to report, mainly focusing on the six prefectures of Tohoku. I love traveling both domestically and internationally, even in my private life.

A famous waterfall in the suburbs where you can listen to the sound of water
About 30 minutes by car from central Sendai city towards Yamagata. The Sakunami area, located along National Route 48, has spectacular views that only appear in winter and famous hot springs that you'll miss during the cold months. Would you like to experience the rich nature of Sendai, which is completely different from the bustle of the city, at Sakunami?
Upstream of the Hirose River, the symbol of Sendai, there are step-shaped waterfalls of various sizes, with clear water cascading down, sometimes dynamically and sometimes delicately. It is said that these famous waterfalls were named ''Houmei 48 Falls'' because the beautiful sound of water echoing around them is reminiscent of the cry of the legendary bird, the phoenix. The fresh greenery in early summer and the colored leaves in autumn are particularly popular, but winter is also a season of spectacular scenery with fantastic views. As the snow falls steadily and piles up on the trees, the world becomes a completely white world. Clear water flows with white spray as if threading between them. The view of the waterfall in the clear air and tranquility is a mystical beauty. Mount Kamakura rises in the background, creating an even more spectacular view.
It's a short 2-minute walk from the parking lot to the observation deck, so you can easily go sightseeing even on cold days.
