Fukushima City/“Drops of Light Illumination” that magically colors winter nights
2024/11/01
A variety of fun activities will be held at the "Lighting Ceremony" on the first day of lighting.
Every year, on the first day of lighting, we hold a "lighting ceremony" where you can enjoy various attractions and performances. On this day, there will be entertainment for families, such as live music by local artists and workshops for children, as well as night stalls where you can enjoy local gourmet food, and the warmth of the food will warm you to the core.
The Drops of Light Illumination is also an event created by the cooperation of local people. Volunteers and local businesses work together to prepare and run the event, making it a great opportunity to strengthen ties with the community. With this background, visitors will not only be able to just sightsee, but will also be able to feel the warmth and compassion of the people of Fukushima.
The event period is usually from December to January of the following year. Many photos are being shared on social media, helping to spread the appeal of Fukushima.
Please come and experience this fantastic world of light as winter approaches.
