Morioka City/Enjoy food stalls at the famous bazaar “Yoichi” that creates a lively shopping street
2024/08/01
With a diverse lineup, you'll want to come back again and again.
The event is held on Saturdays during the period from 3:10pm to 6:30pm. More than 100 stalls are lined up along the approximately 400m street, and customers can be seen shopping while having fun chatting with the shop staff. We sell a wide variety of menu items, including ramen, kimchi, fried foods, pickles, coffee, and sweets, making it a lineup that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to seniors. They sell not only food but also handmade miscellaneous goods, so you won't get bored even if you spend hours there from beginning to end.
Please eat and drink what you have purchased on the benches in the city. Also, in the shopping district, there are objects with motifs from the world of Kenji Miyazawa installed in six locations, so be sure to pay attention to them as well. The contents change slightly each day, with spot stalls and events held, so you can enjoy something fresh no matter how many times you visit.
