Aomori City/Gorgeous cherry blossoms that harmonize with gardens and lakes
2023/06/13

Beautiful cherry blossoms surround Lake Nogiwa
Now, let me introduce you to another famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Aomori City.
Nogiwa Park is located on the hilly area to the west of the city. This park is divided into five areas, centered around Lake Nogiwako, ''Children's Country,'' ''Picnic Square,'' ''Waterside Walking Park,'' ''Forest Walking Park,'' and ''Furusato no Mori.'' In addition, Lake Nogiwa, which has water in the center of the park, has four bridges built over it: Nogiwa Walking Bridge, Kojo Ohashi Bridge, Mikaeri Bridge, and Lucky Bridge, and you can enjoy fishing around the lake.
There are over 900 cherry blossom trees planted mainly around the lake. As the Someiyoshino cherry blossoms reach their final peak, the Yaezakura cherry blossoms start blooming as if passing a baton. Therefore, it is also attractive that you can enjoy cherry blossoms for a long period of time. There are walking trails within the park, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing while feeling like you're trekking.
The Cherry Blossom Festival is held at the same time as Goura Park, so it's fun to go cherry blossom viewing. Why not go see the cherry blossoms in Aomori City this year?
