A new Ferris wheel opens at the zoo's small amusement park

There is a small amusement park "Omoriyama Amusement Park Anipa" inside Omoriyama Zoo. There is no dedicated entrance to the amusement park, and the system is such that you pay the Omoriyama Zoo entrance fee to enter and experience the attractions for 400 yen each time. It is characterized by a variety of attractions that even young children can enjoy, such as a merry-go-round, roller coaster, monorail, and the ''Mouse Russet Spaceship'' where you can enjoy floating in the air.

The highlight is the new Ferris wheel that will be installed this year. The Ferris wheel, which has been a popular symbol of Anipa, was closed down last fall due to its age. The Ferris wheel that was popular at Fukuoka Prefecture's amusement park "Kashiikaen", which closed in December 2021, will be relocated and will be in operation as a new symbol. The new Ferris wheel will be 36m high, making it 3m taller than the previous one. The view of the Sea of ​​Japan from the top will be more spectacular than ever before.
