Colorful illuminations to enjoy on foot from Akita Station
From Akita City, we would like to introduce you to Nakaichi Winter Park, where various events will be held from November 25th to February 28th, mainly in the Nakaichi area.
Area Nakaichi, located about a 10-minute walk from JR Akita Station, is an area consisting of the commercial facility @4-no-3 (At Yonnosan), the Nigiwai Exchange Center AU, and the Akita Prefectural Museum of Art designed by architect Tadao Ando.
"Akita Light Fantasy", which will be held throughout the exhibition period, is the main event where the central city area from Akita Station to Area Nakaichi and Akita Castle Hotel will be decorated with colorful illuminations. Area Nakaichi will brighten up winter nights with colorful balls of various sizes and character projections using LED spotlights.
Also, from across the moat of Senshu Park across from Area Nakaichi, you can enjoy the fantastic night view of illuminations reflected in the water mirror.
This year, we will be holding a new digital stamp rally in collaboration with illuminations and surrounding cultural facilities. If you collect stamps on your smartphone while enjoying the illuminations and the streets of Akita City, you will be entered into a lottery to win the ''Area Nakaichi 10th Anniversary Special Assortment Set,'' which includes items sold at tenants.
