A show of autumn colors created by autumn leaves and colorful dahlias

The Akita International Dahlia Garden is one of the best spots in Japan where you can see 7,000 dahlias of approximately 700 varieties. Mountains such as Mt. Nukazuka rise along the road leading to the dahlia garden. The mountain surface starts to change color from the top to the base around late October every year.
