Requests for Cooperation from the Executive Committee
Please note: June 2nd and 3rd (Saturday and Sunday) To reduce traffic congestion in central Morioka city, please use available public transportation due to the large traffic restrictions. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please be sure to report in case of finding any suspicious personnel or items to the police officers or the event staff nearby and follow the 3 simple rules of “Do not touch.”, ”Do not step on.”, and “Do not kick.” Thank you for your cooperation.
The use of drones, multi-copters, or any other pilotless aircrafts are strictly prohibited at all times. This is to secure the visitor safety during the Tohoku Kizuna festival.
Requests to Visitors Who Come by Subway, Bus, or Taxi
Please note: June 2nd (Saturday) from 14:30- and June 3rd (Sunday) from 13:30- There will be entry restrictions to secure visitor safety at Morioka station. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note: June 2nd and 3rd (Saturday and Sunday-Parade) Some bus stops will be cancelled or closed in the restricted area during restricted hours.
About traffic restrictions at Morioka station
For visitors using train services, please move from the parade location to Kaiunbashi (Kaiun bridge). * There may be entry restrictions at stairways and underpass during restricted hours. Thank you for your understanding.
All visitors using Tohoku JR line, Hanawa line, and IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway line, please line up first and head to your destination.
Please be advised to purchase your return tickets before heading to the festival to avoid congestion at Morioka station on your way back. Thank you.
